When we have blockages in our energy system, it can lead to emotional and/or physical symptoms that include lack of self esteem, anxiety, depression and even compulsive and addictive behaviors.  It is well known that emotional disharmony in the body is a primary factor in physical symptoms and disease, which is why EFT is becoming increasingly accepted in both the psychiatric and medical professions and is drawing extreme attention from healing professionals, spiritualists and scientists all over the world.  

Emotional Freedom Technique or "tapping" is a technique that involves the  use of fingertips to tap on certain energy meridian points on the body. Tapping on these meridian points in a sequence or pattern while saying aloud a specific phrase engages both the brain’s limbic system and the body’s energy system, which promotes feelings of security and resolution.  As science is proving, when you change your internal environment (your emotions and beliefs), your external environment will change with it, and  physical and mental health will shortly follow.

History of EFT
 This concept derives from Eastern discoveries that have been around for over 5,000 years. Even Albert Einstein told us in the 1920's that everything, including our bodies is made up of energy. This idea has been largely ignored in much of the Western Healing Practices, however times are changing, and the truth is finally being accepted.... that everything is in fact energy!
